About Engender

Engender is Scotland’s feminist membership organisation. We have a vision for a Scotland in which women and men have equal opportunities in life, equal access to resources and power, and are equally safe and secure from harm.

We have worked in Scotland for 30 years to advance equality between women and men, producing research, lobbying decision-makers and empowering women to campaign for change.

We are a membership organisation, and welcome all those who identify as feminist women to join us. We also accept organisational members including women’s and equality organisations, voluntary and campaigning groups, and trade unions. We have an experienced board, and a small and enthusiastic staff team. We are linked to networks of women’s organisations in Scotland, the UK, and Europe.

If you have any questions about our work, membership or structure, please get in contact.
