Engender is Scotland’s feminist policy organisation, working for women’s equality in politics, in the economy, and in all aspects of our society.
This page will list any vacancies we currently have for paid and voluntary positions.
We currently don't have any volunteering positions at Engender, outwith our board. We occasionally work with universities to offer placements to students who need to complete a project with an organisation as part of their degree programme.
As a feminist employer we strive to reflect our principles in our practice and are proud of the wide range of flexible working opportunities that we are happy to consider. This includes, but is not limited to; home working, tele working, condensed hours, annualised hours, term-time working, flexible hours of work, part-time / reduced hours and job-share. We are open to discussing individual requests.
If you have any questions about our flexible working opportunities or would like an answer to a specific question please contact email@example.com or call 0131 558 9596. Any such contact will be treated anonymously and will not impact your application.
Engender’s office is based at 10 Old Tolbooth Wynd in central Edinburgh. Due to Covid-19 restrictions all our staff are working from home at present and all new staff will also be home-based until it is safe to implement any changes. Engender will provide the necessary IT and furniture to facilitate safe and effective home working.
