How has feminism in Scotland changed over the past 25 years?

Engender has received some funding to produce a podcast documentary exploring the history of the women's movement in Scotland. And we need your help!

Join us for this relaxed evening (complete with coffee and cake of course) where we'll be creating a timeline of Engender's history, sharing memories of feminist activity in Scotland, and drawing out some key themes we want to cover in our documentary. You are very welcome to attend whether you were around at the start, or are brand new to Engender.

We're delighted that we'll be joined by feminist historian Dr Lesley Orr who will be speaking about key changes for women's equality over the past quarter of a century, and Susie Dalton who will be telling us about the amazing 'Speaking Out' history project run by Scottish Women's Aid.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to meet other feminists, and learn from each other, and we really hope you'll be able to come along.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and we can provide travel expenses. Children are very welcome to attend and we will provide a quite corner with activities, or they can join in with the discussions.

Doors from 6.30pm, with the event starting at 7pm.
