Women’s poverty is preventable - it is a political choice that women, and their children, continue to experience a gender income gap in Scotland.

Breaking the cycle: A five-point plan to eliminate the income gap for women

  1. Taskforce on women’s poverty
  2. Women’s Equality Fund - crisis support for marginalised women
  3. Minimum Income Guarantee for unpaid carers
  4. Roadmap to a universal childcare system for all
  5. Overhaul of the public sector equality duty
