The Parliament Project

The Parliament Project

29/5 Marchmont Road, Edinburgh EH9 1HU.

The Parliament Project exists to inspire, empower and encourage women to run for political office in the UK. As well as there being systemic barriers to women's political participation, research shows women are more likely to run for office if they are encouraged and supported. It is this support that the Parliament Project supplies.

Launched in summer 2016 in Edinburgh and London we run informative and skills building events, provide links to current research in women in politics and offer a peer networking service to support women's journey to get elected.
