Glasgow Women's Library, Glasgow

With presentations, workshops and discussions on feminist policy, campaigning and action this conference will focus on building knowledge, skills and relationships. We'll also be launching Engender's 'Gender Matters Roadmap' which sets out concrete actions the Scottish Government, and others, can take to advance women's equality in Scotland.

We'll soon be releasing the full agenda of speakers, workshops and themes, but make sure you book your ticket soon as we anticipate this will be a sell-out event. We would encourage everyone to come for both days if you can, but you can also book for each day individually. Friday will focus on policy and legislative change, with Saturday exploring other ways we can push for change including campaigning, commentary and creativity.

On Friday night we'll also be recording a live version of 'On the Engender: Scotland's feminist policy podcast', which you can book for here.

Cost:

The conference is free for members of Engender (both individuals and organisations), with a small cost for other attendees. Members will have received a discount code in Friday Feminist Five which you can enter after clicking 'enter promotional code' below. You can join Engender here.

If you are not a member of Engender and are unable to pay for your ticket, please contact us on info@engender.org.uk and we will do our best to help you attend.

Childcare can be provided (either through providing a creche, or covering regular childcare costs, depending on demand); please let us know if you require childcare.

This event is open to all genders.

Venue and support:

The venue is step-free, and we will be using amplification with a hearing loop.

We want to make sure that there aren't barriers to you attending, and so can provide support which will make it easier for you to attend and participate. Please email us to let us know about any access needs you may have.

Everyone who books will be sent a survey to conplete to let us know about dietary, childcare and support needs, but the earlier we have this information, the better we can ensure your needs are met.
