WEBINAR: Covid-19 and women's equality across the UK

WEBINAR: Covid-19 and women's equality across the UK

November 24, 2020, 12.15 – 13.30

Women have been disproportionately affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, and continue to bear the brunt of the continuing public health restrictions. From childcare to frontline jobs, the coronavius crisis has both highlighted and deepened the need for women's equality.

Across the United Kingdom, women's organisations have been working to expose the gendered nature of the Covid-19 response and urging decision makers to act for women's equality. This webinar will hear from representatives from Scotland's feminist policy organisation Engender, England's National Organisation of Women's Organisations, The Northern Ireland Women's Equality Platform, and the Women's Equality Network Wales, who together represent the UK at the European Women's Lobby.

Live transcription will be provided, and if there's anything we can do to make it easier for you to attend, for example by providing BSL interpretation or sending through slide presentations in advance, please let us know on the booking form.
