Join Inclusion Scotland, Women 5050 and Engender for a workshop for deaf and disabled women to discuss the Scottish Local Elections.

Councils have the power to make decisions about so many things which affect women, like public transport, schools, social care and leisure services. But currently most of the councillors in Scotland are men, which means that women’s voices aren’t being heard. We invite deaf and disabled women to an event with Inclusion Scotland, Engender and Women 5050 to talk about how councils can represent deaf and disabled women better.

Please let us know what support you need to help you attend, including communication support, personal assistants, transport costs, or childcare.
