Consultancy

One of the primary assets that has sustained Engender and progressed our agenda has been the collective wealth of knowledge and skills of the women that make up our membership. Over the years they have researched and written the award winning Gender Audit [before handing over the process to the Scottish Executive]; have analysed and commented on policy and current affairs from women’s perspective; and have designed and delivered training and support to a range of women, third and public sectors agencies.

Now Engender has formalised this resource through the creation of Engender Associate pool. We currently have 23 Associates with a vast array of knowledge, skills and experience:

  • They share a common focus on gender and equalities [race, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, age [young and old] and mental health].
  • They bring a range of skills and competencies in research, training and facilitation, change management, consultation, policy analysis and development, strategy development, facilitation, monitoring, evaluation, impact assessment, empowerment and leadership… among many others.
  • They have wealth of experience across the public, private, third and academic sectors; in health, education, political science, economics, poverty, regeneration, community development, participation, representation, statistics, violence, justice media, arts, and the environment.

Engender can now offer this incredible resource to you as a consultancy service.

Whether you need one consultant with a specific set of skills or a complex team of consultants with a range of skills and experiences Engender can respond to your request.
