Position Papers
We are currently producing position papers that will act as a detailed analysis of our thinking on the main areas of our work. While we know that we share a common analysis and understanding of the main issues that we work on, we realised that this was almost a ‘taken for granted’ kind of agreement. We have decided that we really should have our positions ‘out there’ for all to see and so we are in the midst of producing a series of documents which will outline our analysis of and messages about our areas of work. Starting with ‘Poverty’, and followed by ‘Violence Against Women’ and ‘Power and Participation’, these papers will be drawn from consultations with our members and wider network. In addition to our three main themes we hope to create a whole series of policy positions, based on consultations, as individual topics arise. The papers will be put on our website and hard copies will be available from the office.
