This meeting will discuss consumerism and feminism with a focus on:
- in what ways are women literally 'buying into' ideas of beauty, how does this affect our lives and the lives of other people?
- How can women use their 'consumer power' to change the way companies operate. Should we be doing this?
- Can the planet sustain our current rates of consumption? Is this a feminist issue?

The meeting will be held in the Edinburgh University Library Cafe from 3-5pm
