Women Thinking Trans Issues
Trans Women publish report into access to NHS services
Our Women Thinking Trans Issues group identified the unequal provision of gender reassignment services across NHS health boards as the issue they wanted to research. The group interviewed trans women about their experiences and also spoke to health boards. The result is a report which reveals that gender reassignment services are a postcode lottery for transitioning women.

Alastair Pringle, Head of Patient Focus and Equalities, Scottish Government Health Directorates spoke of the vital role such research plays in shaping service provision.
