New Statesman Campaign for improved Rape Crisis provision in England and Wales
18 Mar 2008
Scince 2004, funding for Rape Crisis provision in Scotland has been ring-fenced by the Scottish Government (formerly Executive) and this has meant that Scotland is the only part of the UK in which rape crisis provision has increased rather than fallen.
The New Statesman is running a series of articles this month to highlight the lack of funding for these services in England and Wales, including one from Margaret Curran MSP explaining the Scottish situation.
