The Economic Crisis: The Turning Point for Women - 8th & 9th July
The International Training Centre for Women are holding their fourth Global conference in July and the theme is Economic Crisis: The Turning Point for Women. The conference will be held in Amsterdam and the aim is to produce information and recommendations on actions which will enhance Gender Equity as the turning point for Economic Development in the world.
In the preparation process of this conference guest-speakers and participants are invited to produce papers to be used as a starting point for the following workshops:
- The Economic Crisis and Employment
- The Turning Point: Economic Crisis & Gender Solutions
- Women Leaders & Gender Equity in Economy
- Micro Credit & Gender Entreprenuership
- Government Policies and Women in the Media, ICT and Creative Industries
- Strategies for Engendering Economies
Papers should be a maximum of 250 words and sent in this format as a word doc by 15th May to:
