European Elections 2009

Elections to the European Parliament will take place accross Europe between 4th - 7th June this year.  The UK will go to the polls on Thursday 4th and we will elect 72 MEP's to represent us in Brussels.  Scotland will be electing 6 MEP's, one less than the previous session.

Young people are being encouraged to vote with the 'Can you hear me Europe?' campaign with MTV hoping to raise the biggest soundwave in Europe - see here for details  http://www.caneuhearme.eu/eu/
