Gude Cause Glasgow meeting

From Gude Cause committee: 

The GC Committee have been aware for some time that we have not made much contact with all the women in the West of Scotland who have expressed an interest in participating in the re-enactment of the Women's Suffrage Procession and associated activites.

So a meeting is being held on Wednesday 6th May at 6pm at the Glasgow Women's Library,  81 Parnie Street (2nd Floor) Glasgow, G1 5RH, UK

We will show some historical photographs of the original procession in 1909 and newspaper reports of the time, and give you an up-to-date report on the planning for the commemorative procession on 10 October 2009. We hope that you will take the opportunity to share your ideas for participation and associated activities.

If you live in Glasgow or the West of Scotland we hope that you will be able to come along. There will be tea, coffee and biscuits available at 6pm to keep you going!
